The Societal Impact of Pain Symposia in Copenhagen

29-31. maj 2012 afholdes Symposiet "Societal Impact of Pain" i Bella Centret i København.
Symposiet afholdes for 3. gang og afholdes med henblik på at skabe øget opmærksomhed på kroniske smerter i Europa. Der arbejdes mod en fælles handlingsplan for behandling og diagnostik.

Identification and Treatment of Neuropathic Pain in Patients with Cancer

International Association for the Study of Pain udgiver månedligt en "Clinical update" på deres hjemmeside.
I marts 2012 er fokus på identification og behandling af neuropatiske smerter hos personer med cancersmerter. Vurdering af smertegenese, klinisk identifikation og behandling blive diskuteret med fokus på patientens livskvalitet.
